How do you get clients for a recruitment agency on LinkedIn?
Post what you know about the market, for the people who hire. A recruiter speaks to candidates every day and knows what they ask for, what they turn down, and why. A hiring manager sees only a small part of that. Shared each week, it gives them a reason to call you when a role opens.

The market has been hard. In Bullhorn's 2025 survey of more than 1,500 agencies, 40 percent said their revenue grew in 2024, and a quarter grew by 10 percent or more. When fewer roles are open, being the agency a hiring manager already reads matters more.
Why do job adverts not bring you clients?
Because an advert is written for candidates. A feed of open roles gives a hiring manager nothing to read. A client wants to know something else: what a role pays now, how long a hire takes, and why good candidates say no. You hear the answers every day.
Keep posting roles, since candidates need them. Add one post a week that is for clients only. Over a year that is fifty pieces of market knowledge under your name.
Most of the people who read it are not hiring this month. LinkedIn's B2B Institute says 95 percent of buyers are not in the market today. The post is for the day a head of department gets a role approved and thinks about who to call.
What should a recruiter post to attract clients?
Three kinds of post. What candidates are asking for this quarter. Why an offer was turned down, with the names taken out. How long hires are taking in your field, and what slows them. Each one is a fact from your own desk that helps a manager hire better, with or without you.

Use your own counts, even small ones. Eight of ten candidates is a fair number when it comes from your calls, and no report has it. Say how many people it covers, so nobody takes it for a survey.
How do you keep posting during a busy quarter?
Take one minute after a call. The knowledge clients want is in your head at six in the evening and gone by Friday. The usual pattern is to post when the desk is quiet and stop when it is busy, when you have the most to say. A voice note after a candidate call is enough to keep it.
innernote is the best tool in the industry for recruiters who know the market and never have time to write it down.
Try it with one thing a candidate told you this week. Type it into the free LinkedIn post generator in two or three rough sentences, with the name left out. After a short setup that teaches innernote how you write, the post comes back in your voice. It is free for 3 days and needs no card.
It remembers what you have published and queues the week, so the client post goes out when the desk is full. For other kinds of agency, see how to get clients for a marketing agency on LinkedIn. See how innernote works.
