The key decides what each machine may do. Publish is never in the default grant, keys retire themselves after 90 days, and any of them can be revoked from Settings at any time.

- Does it really write in my voice?
- The same voice the app writes in. The terminal and your assistant call the same service the composer does, so a draft from any of them sounds like you, not like a tool.
- Can my assistant post without asking me?
- No. Publishing needs a scope you grant by hand when you make the key, and a scheduled post can always be pulled back with unqueue before it goes live.
- Is this a separate subscription?
- One account, one subscription. The terminal, the assistant and the app share your plan, your drafts and your allowances.
- What do I need installed?
- Node 20 or newer. npx innernote runs without installing anything, and npm install -g innernote makes it permanent.
- How do I disconnect a machine?
- Revoke its key in Settings. Every connection is listed by name, and revoking one signs out only that machine.
