LinkedIn text formatter: bold, italic, and more

This LinkedIn text formatter turns your words into bold, italic, script, monospace, and other styles that survive a paste into LinkedIn, which has no formatting buttons. It works by swapping each letter for a Unicode look-alike. Type once, preview every style, and copy the one you want. Use it sparingly: styled text is not screen-reader accessible and is not searchable on LinkedIn.

Use sparingly. These styles are Unicode look-alike letters, not real formatting. Screen readers read them out character by character, and LinkedIn search will not find styled words. Great for one heading, not a whole post.

What is the linkedin text formatter?

LinkedIn posts do not support bold or italic. The workaround is Unicode: complete look-alike alphabets (mathematical bold, italic, script, monospace) that were added for math notation. LinkedIn treats them as plain text, so they survive copy-paste and show up styled. This tool does that swap for you, live, across every style at once.

How to use it

Click copy on the style you want.

  4. 4

    Paste into LinkedIn

Drop it into your post, headline, or comment.
